Located near New Xindus, Regulus, Celes, Nausicaa, and Suliban space and on the edge of what was formerly known as the Delphic Expanse. Sentinel is strategically located at the heart of the region, which was once defined by conflict but now a focus of possibility.

Under the command of Captain Maddox Green, the station serves with the purpose of diplomacy, trade oversight, scientific research, and border security. Sentinel Station is the new frontier where the future of the Federation is currently in motion.

Come join the crew of the Sentinel as we bring stability to what is deemed an unstable region of space.

Mission: Echos on the Deck
Posted on Fri Apr 3rd, 2026 @ 8:43pm by Lieutenant JG Leonard Larkin MD

Leo trudged down the hall where his quarters were situated. At this late hour, in the middle of the graveyard shift, everything was quiet and he busied himself sniffing at the sandwich he'd snatched from the messhall after he got a quick dinner there.

There was always that moment for him, in the middle of the gamma shift when hunger would spring up and demand to be satisfied. Leo had been chased away from Sickbay by the CMO just before that time. The Nausicaans' ships were slated to arrive the next day and most of the medical personnel would be…

Mission: Echos on the Deck
Posted on Fri Apr 3rd, 2026 @ 7:11pm by Lieutenant Jane Belanger Dr & Commander Saul Whitford

::ON::

Whitford had gone in search of a problem that would distract from the presence of Nausicaans on the station. Lucky for him, being the station's Chief of Operations provided many distractions. Making his way down through the station, he was in search of the station's newly arrived Chief Medical Officer.

As head of one of the larger departments on the station - Operations handled freight, maintenance and personnel support for the facility - he had his hands full. Particularly, he thought, when shipments had disappeared. The Commander had been disappointed to learn on opening a manifest comparison with what…

Mission: Echos on the Deck
Posted on Tue Mar 31st, 2026 @ 1:18am by Captain Maddox Greene & Commander Saul Whitford

Three Nausicaan cruisers had arrived at Sentinel Station twenty minutes ago. Which was definitely expected. On the lead ship was High Fang Kragh Torvax, who requested to board the station. Part of that request was to come with his personal guards. Captain Greene granted him two guards to accompany him on the station. In the meantime, the crews of all three ships were to remain where they were at least until they had established a few things during their meeting. The station was a bit on edge, but the three ships that showed up were currently not a major threat,…

Mission: Echos on the Deck
Posted on Mon Mar 30th, 2026 @ 12:59am by Captain Maddox Greene & Ensign Nyxala Vireen

Thirteen hours before the arrival of the High Fang, Captain Greene found himself conducting a walk-through of the USS Frontier. At this time there was a bare minimum of personnel on board who were prepping the ship in case the need should arise. Moving down the corridor, he had seen most of the ship but found himself in sickbay. The place was empty as expected, but further back he could hear somebody mumbling to themselves. Turning the corner, he found the Head Nurse with a PADD in hand going through inventory.

Ensign Vireen had been on the Frontier for several…

Mission: Echos on the Deck
Posted on Sun Mar 29th, 2026 @ 6:54pm by Chief Petty Officer Alexa Truman & Lieutenant JG T'Vei

Chief Petty Officer Alexa Truman found herself in the department head's office, cleaning out her stuff from the desk. For the past three weeks, she had been running things, and a few minutes ago, she was informed that a Sublieutenant from Vulcan was here to fill in temporarily. Being enlisted, she knew that running things permanently was likely impossible. Though in all honesty, she enjoyed helping the department get up and running. Back to just telling the enlisted personnel what to do.

The doors to the armory opened and in walked a pair of Vulcan officers, still in the middle…

"Captain's personal log. My first staff meeting with the senior staff went primarily well. I was hoping that Doctor Belanger would have some good news regarding getting our resident Nausicaan healthy and on his feet again. But walking again would not be an option for him. Even though there were other alternatives, but the patient refused. As much as I don't like what's about to take place due to that refusal. That is indeed his right to live or die according to the beliefs of his culture. Though that belief to me is archaic. Perhaps the…

Chief Engineer's Log

Repair work is complete on the arm of Pylon C, the damage consisted of two hull plates that were improperly welded. Due to time constraints with the Nausicaan imminent arrival, I made the decision to patch the location rather than replace it. Fabrication labs created a 1 meter by 4 meter piece of plating; colored to match the hull in that location, and it was taken to the hangar module by anti-grav sled.

Acting flight deck OPS Lt. Jg Smith assigned a trainee pilot, Ens. Srevon to operate the inspection pod, outfitted to Workbee specifications with a…

Shuttlecraft Velor – En Route to Starbase Sentinel

Begin security officer’s personal log.

Anticipation is a peculiar sensation. Akin to anxiety, it bears similar symptoms: restlessness, accelerated and disordered thought patterns, and increased heart rate and respiration. And yet there is a positive association, a missing element that I find perplexing.

I have served on the Sh’Raal for eight years, nine months, and sixteen days. The ship is familiar and that familiarity improves my efficiency, and yet I have grown distracted. I know that the starboard torpedo launcher responds 1.2 seconds slower than the port tube due to the electromagnetic…

Computer, begin recording personal log.

I thought I'd never get to settle in my quarters. One minute after I set foot on deck, I had one of the worst medical cases to consider, followed by my first Senior briefing. After lunch and unpacking, I finally got around to meeting my staff officially... Hopefully I impressed on them the way I intend to run the department.

I'm actually running a medical department now.

I'm not so sure how much of it registered for them, since I followed that up with a general introduction to the varied lifeforms I got delivered to…

I’m packing so this is a good time to talk to myself. My mind should be all on Sentinel Station as I am finally within reach of my new assignment but a message was delivered to me. It comes from Captain Caroline Paris, newly in command of the USS Pioneer as she informs us.

As former and nearly last First Officer of the USS Essex NCC-173, she has vowed to have one such message go round every year, to surviving crew members of the Essex. They survived because, like her, like me, they transferred out before…
