Located near New Xindus, Regulus, Celes, Nausicaa, and Suliban space and on the edge of what was formerly known as the Delphic Expanse. Sentinel is strategically located at the heart of the region, which was once defined by conflict but now a focus of possibility.

Under the command of Captain Maddox Green, the station serves with the purpose of diplomacy, trade oversight, scientific research, and border security. Sentinel Station is the new frontier where the future of the Federation is currently in motion.

Come join the crew of the Sentinel as we bring stability to what is deemed an unstable region of space.

Mission: Lines in the Vacuum
Posted on Thu May 7th, 2026 @ 3:09am by Lieutenant T'Vei & Commander Saul Whitford

OOC: Bit of a backlog from Echoes on the Deck.

IC:

The numbers were not encouraging.

Forty-three positions on the armory roster were either pending arrival or entirely unfilled, including the majority of their officers. By any reasonable tactical projection, Sentinel Station was not prepared for sustained combat.

Assistance was therefore required.

T'Vei strode into the XO's office and announced to the yeoman, "Sublieutenant T'Vei, acting armory chief, requesting an audience with Commander Whitford regarding station combat preparedness."

Looking up from a report the Engineering section had compiled on the station's power grid, Whitford frowned, a memory of another equally…

Mission: Lines in the Vacuum
Posted on Thu May 7th, 2026 @ 2:57am by Captain Maddox Greene & Commander Saul Whitford & Lieutenant Varkl Brukh & Lieutenant T'Vei & Lieutenant Jane Belanger Dr

The doors to the bridge opened as Captain Greene stepped onto the bridge from the turbolift. Around the bridge, the crew was working, prepping the ship for launch. Everyone was so busy, they hadn't even noticed him standing in the background, watching, which came to an abrupt end rather quickly.

"Captain on the bridge," one of the enlisted men called out.

"At ease," Maddox called out. "Please continue on with your duties." The refitted Ganges class had seen its fair share of battles. It was retired after the Earth-Romulan War. But it was pulled out of retirement a little over…

Mission: Lines in the Vacuum
Posted on Mon Apr 13th, 2026 @ 5:52am by Captain Maddox Greene & Lena Holt

It had been about a week since the High Fang and his ships had left the station. Things around here had calmed down, which went back to a sense of normalcy. One of the things Maddox found interesting was the station's civilian population. They ran the shops and even worked side by side with the Starfleet personnel in some cases. But among those civilians were spouses and children. Three days ago, he was asked to speak with the children at the school. So many questions that came from the view point of the youngest on the station. This place was…

Mission: Echos on the Deck
Posted on Mon Apr 13th, 2026 @ 5:46am by Captain Maddox Greene & Lieutenant T'Vei

Twelve hours had passed and thus far the worst the Nausicaans had done was yell at some station residents and one instance of public intoxication that had led to an escort back to their ship. T'Vei had to acknowledge, she was impressed with her team's performance. Security personnel had avoided hovering over the Nausicaans, but were in the area to intervene when a situation developed. Even Crewman Mays had returned to his patrol without further instance of panic.

While their vigil was ongoing, T'Vei had promised her answer to Captain Greene within 24 hours and was already overdue. She had…

Mission: Echos on the Deck
Posted on Mon Apr 13th, 2026 @ 3:09am by Lieutenant T'Vei

The Nausicaans had arrived. Without violence. Without fanfare. Sixteen hours of preparation remained in the event it was needed, although T'Vei suspected it would not. She had redirected her staff to security roles: guarding critical areas of the station and patrolling in pairs, ensuring personnel were nearby anywhere the visiting Nausicaan crew would venture, without directly shadowing them.

"Brown reporting in. All quiet in the arboretum."

"Guess they're not big on smelling the flowers. Meanwhile, our guys are literally window shopping."

"Rik'koshvar to security teams. You mean figuratively, Mr. Alycia unless there is a purveyor of glass on the Promenade…

Personal Log

"Today, Doctor Belanger gave me the task of checking out the inventory on the Frontier. The fact that she trusted me with such a task was an honor. Hopefully, I didn't give the impression of being overly eager. This also led to a conversation with Captain Greene. Most of the senior staff I found myself having to approve myself throughout the years. But the Captain was kind and offered to help me locate my parents. It's been eight long years without a single word for them. And I wasn't even allowed to take the necessary steps required to…

"Captain's personal log. My first staff meeting with the senior staff went primarily well. I was hoping that Doctor Belanger would have some good news regarding getting our resident Nausicaan healthy and on his feet again. But walking again would not be an option for him. Even though there were other alternatives, but the patient refused. As much as I don't like what's about to take place due to that refusal. That is indeed his right to live or die according to the beliefs of his culture. Though that belief to me is archaic. Perhaps the…

Chief Engineer's Log

Repair work is complete on the arm of Pylon C, the damage consisted of two hull plates that were improperly welded. Due to time constraints with the Nausicaan imminent arrival, I made the decision to patch the location rather than replace it. Fabrication labs created a 1 meter by 4 meter piece of plating; colored to match the hull in that location, and it was taken to the hangar module by anti-grav sled.

Acting flight deck OPS Lt. Jg Smith assigned a trainee pilot, Ens. Srevon to operate the inspection pod, outfitted to Workbee specifications with a…

Shuttlecraft Velor – En Route to Starbase Sentinel

Begin security officer’s personal log.

Anticipation is a peculiar sensation. Akin to anxiety, it bears similar symptoms: restlessness, accelerated and disordered thought patterns, and increased heart rate and respiration. And yet there is a positive association, a missing element that I find perplexing.

I have served on the Sh’Raal for eight years, nine months, and sixteen days. The ship is familiar and that familiarity improves my efficiency, and yet I have grown distracted. I know that the starboard torpedo launcher responds 1.2 seconds slower than the port tube due to the electromagnetic…

Computer, begin recording personal log.

I thought I'd never get to settle in my quarters. One minute after I set foot on deck, I had one of the worst medical cases to consider, followed by my first Senior briefing. After lunch and unpacking, I finally got around to meeting my staff officially... Hopefully I impressed on them the way I intend to run the department.

I'm actually running a medical department now.

I'm not so sure how much of it registered for them, since I followed that up with a general introduction to the varied lifeforms I got delivered to…
